Our CSR Commitment

Our Conviction

Building digital tools means accepting responsibility: towards users, towards the data we handle, and towards the environment. At DPLIANCE, this commitment guides our technical choices, our purchasing decisions and our day-to-day practices.

Responsible Hardware Policy

We apply a strict policy on our IT equipment:

  • Responsible purchasing — We prioritise refurbished or second-hand equipment. When new purchases are necessary, we choose devices with recyclable components (e.g. Apple MacBook Pro, whose casing is made from 100% recycled aluminium and whose logic board uses recycled rare earth elements)
  • Maximum lifespan — As long as equipment works, we do not replace it. Hardware is rotated internally: when a workstation is no longer suited to one use, we find it a new purpose before considering replacement
  • End-of-life recycling — Equipment that can no longer be used is directed to certified recycling channels. Nothing ends up in the bin

Digital Sobriety

We design lightweight tools by conviction, not by constraint:

  • This website is static (pre-rendered) — no continuously running application server, minimal energy consumption
  • Our scripts are optimised to minimise page weight and network requests
  • Mirage Analytics uses an ultra-lightweight script, without cookies, reducing client-server exchanges to the strict minimum
  • We avoid unnecessary dependencies, software layers and oversized frameworks
  • None of our products include auto-playing videos, heavy image carousels or superfluous third-party CDNs

Responsible Hosting

Our solutions are hosted by Scaleway, a French cloud operator committed to reducing its carbon footprint. Scaleway uses an adiabatic cooling system (without traditional air conditioning) and sources renewable energy.

Hosting in Europe also means limiting the distance data travels — less latency, less energy consumed. Our showcase website is hosted by OVH, a French operator whose data centres are powered by a low-carbon energy mix.

Sovereignty and Data Ethics

Digital sovereignty is a pillar of our CSR commitment. By not depending on any non-European provider for our critical services, we guarantee that our clients' data remains under European jurisdiction. Our sub-processors are European: Scaleway (hosting), Brevo (transactional emails), Mollie (payments), Mistral AI (AI). No data passes through American infrastructure.

This website does not set any cookies. Mirage Analytics is integrated for audience measurement, and Cookilio is installed for demonstration purposes — but no third-party trackers are active.

Accessibility

We are committed to making our tools accessible to as many people as possible. Our interfaces follow web accessibility best practices: semantic HTML, sufficient contrast, keyboard navigation, ARIA attributes where necessary.

Continuous Improvement

This commitment is evolving. We regularly measure the impact of our tools and infrastructure, and we set concrete improvement targets. If you have suggestions, contact us at contact@dpliance.com.
